AI Transparency

This page explains how Cocktail BarFlow uses artificial intelligence systems, in line with EU Regulation 2024/1689 (AI Act), in particular the transparency obligations of Article 50, and with the GDPR.
1. Where we use AI
• Industry news: article summaries and key points are generated automatically with Google Gemini from the original sources, which are always linked. • IBA recipes: translations of the official recipes are created automatically with Google Gemini. • Visual content: some promotional videos and images on the site (e.g. the login page video) are generated or animated with AI models (Google Veo via fal.ai). AI never decides for you: inventory, recipes, costs and margins are calculated with fixed rules from the data you enter.
2. Transparency
With this page we inform you that the content listed above is generated or processed with artificial intelligence. Summaries do not replace the original articles, which remain available through the source link. The app has no AI assistant or chatbot talking to you.
3. Personal data and AI
We only send public texts (news articles, official recipes) or creative prompts to AI models. We do not send your personal data or your venue and inventory data, and your data is not used to train AI models. We make no decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects on you (Art. 22 GDPR).
4. Limits and human oversight
AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies or omissions. Always check important information (measures, ABV, allergens, news) against the original sources. We monitor content quality and remove incorrect content reported to us.
5. Providers and risk level
We use general-purpose models provided by Google (Gemini, Veo) through the Emergent platform and fal.ai. The uses described are minimal or limited risk under the AI Act: we do not use AI for prohibited practices or high-risk purposes (such as recruitment or assessing people). BarFlow Jobs applications are not evaluated by AI systems.
